About

Hi I’m Jenn!

Hi Im Jenn
This is me
Looking for inspiration on your weight loss journey? Don’t know where to turn to?

I too was in your same position a few years ago. Instagram is where I turned to first to look for people like me that were starting their journey. Back then I would say that I just wanted to see what people were eating or how they were working out, but deep down inside what I was really looking for was a partner, a support group. I never reached out to any of the people I follow, which I totally regret. I started my Jenngee blog first and foremost because I don’t want you to feel like I did. Please, I want you to reach out to me, follow me, and help me throughout the restart of my journey!

Here’s my story..

Current life

I live in the small state of Delaware with my fiance Mike and my dog Boom. We live on 2 acres in the middle of nowhere. It’s the complete opposite of how we grew up, but we are loving this change! The change of pace and environment has given me the opportunity to explore the things I enjoy doing and learn different hobbies that I may not have tried before. I’m super crafty and love DIY projects as well as my new-found interest, gardening! My plan is to start a modern homestead and farm in the next few years.

Where I Come From

I graduated from West Chester University with a Business Management degree in 2012. Since then I have been the general manager and owner in a few different restaurants. I enjoy the fast pace environment and the many different people who dine with us. Everyone has a story to tell and I enjoy listening to them. Having always felt that I should share my weight loss journey, what better time to start then now!

I reached my highest recorded weight of 256lbs back in 2014, but I could have been heavier than that, I wouldn’t know because I wouldn’t dare step on a scale! I lost 50lbs in 2015 with weight watchers and a workout partner. In August 2015, Mike and I with a two business partners opened a pizza restaurant and I was able to keep some of the weight off until December 2016. ¬†Partnership problems caused our business to close and we were devastated. Slowly the weight started to pack on. I lost control of my eating and gained back 20lbs. I felt paralyzed and lost.

Going Forward

After months and months of negative thoughts, I had had enough. With the help of my fiance, I finally feel that I am ready to focus on my mind and body. We have started to change the way we wake up in the morning and focus on putting ourselves in a positive mindset to start the day. If you continue to do the same things you will get the same results, you must change the way you do things if you wish to see different results.  Join me and subscribe as I take a different approach to aiding weight loss and having a healthy, fit mind too!
